Rebellious and light-hearted, James is this season’s youngest contestant. Cooking since age 7, he attended culinary classes at Silwood Culinary School aged just 13. Inspired by South Africa’s rich and diverse heritage, he loves open-flame cooking and describes his style as street food from different cultures.
Known for pushing boundaries, James is this season’s lovable wild child. He dropped out of Stellenbosch University to pursue his culinary passion. James wants to use his privilege as a white South African to create opportunities for others.
