Landman gives us Texan drama like no other. Here's a look at the characters that will keep us coming back for more.
Tommy Norris
The star of the show and the head of the Norris family. Tommy is a crisis manager, aka a landman, for M-Tex Oil in Texas. He's a chain-smoking, potty-mouthed roughneck who doesn't play by the rules, and he will take on anyone who double crosses him and his family. The oil business is not child's play, and Tommy finds himself in the midst of rivalries and troubles. He does his best to run a successful oil rig, while juggling family issues. His goal is to strike it rich someday, and perhaps become an oil tycoon himself.
Cooper Norris
Cooper is Tommy's adult son, who can be considered a bit of the black sheep of the family. He is hardheaded but wants to follow in his father's footsteps and become a landman. But he often finds himself in trouble due to his rebellious nature. He has a relationship with Ariana, a widow with a child, and this drives him to become more responsible.
Ainsley Norris
Daddy's little girl, and the princess of Texas, Ainsley is Tommy's darling teenage daughter. She tries to keep up her innocent image in front of her father, but often drops hints that she's not a little girl anymore and wants to live life her way. Ainsley strikes up a romance with Ryder, a football player. Like her brother Cooper, she loves breaking the rules, especially Tommy's.
Angela Norris
The feisty and fearless ex-wife of Tommy and the mother of Cooper and Ainsley. She has a big mouth and can back it up. One can call her a hot mama, as she is always dressed well, and is very attractive. She has a somewhat complex relationship with Tommy, but is still is very protective over her family and will take on anyone who threatens their happiness.
Monty Miller
An oil tycoon, owner of M-Tex Oil, and Tommy's good friend. He has great respect for Tommy and trusts him as the landman of his oil company. He often turns to Tommy for advice, and Tommy always confides in him on matters on and off the oil rigs. With budding rivals, a huge company on his shoulders, and health scares, Monty has a rocky road ahead.
Cami Miller
Cami is married to Monty Miller, and together they make a powerful couple. As the wife of an oil tycoon, she has an image to uphold. Cami is extremely devoted to Monty, always making sure that he is fine, well fed, and in top shape. There are still more layers to unfold with Cami, and we can't wait to see what she does.
